    Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the relationships that religiosity and obsessive-compulsiveness have to celebrity worship. A random sample of one hundred students from the Dublin Business School (DBS) were administered the Celebrity Attitude Scale (CAS), the Padua Inventory Revised (PI-R) and the Intrinsic Religious Motivation Scale. Results indicate a significant weak negative correlation between religiosity and celebrity worship (r = -.267, p < 0.05, 1-tailed). As well as this results indicate a significant moderately strong correlation between OCD and celebrity worship (r = -.346, p < 0.001, 1-tailed). Future research could assess the relationship between celebrity worship and obsessive-compulsive personality disorder.
