dc.description.abstract | The purpose of this dissertation is to give you an insight and a better understanding of the competition within the computer game industry. I will go into detail and discuss the big players that are involved in the industry and show you there ideas and objectives and what strategies they use to gain a bigger market share within their sector. I will also go into detail using the results of my questionnaire which helped me get a better understanding of what the general public perceive the industry as and what systems they prefer playing on. As well as this I have looked at what the future holds for the industry and the new developments which are occurring on an ongoing basis. | en |
