This project was undertaken in accordance with the requirements on myself as a final year degree student, studying the NCEA BA in Human Resource Management at Portobello College, Dublin. I chose this topic as it is a controversial issue, but one that if Jet get out of hand can have serious repercussions, not only on the individuals concerned, but on the company as a whole. Also because my main subject is HRM, I wanted to study a related topic.
