dc.description.abstract | The aim of this thesis is to provide a good overview of the Bluetooth
technology concept. It strives to cover aspects concerning how
Bluetooth will affect individuals and businesses in the twenty first
Century.
The first chapter provides an introductory explanation of Bluetooth
technology. In terms of its background and the Bluetooth
standardisation organisations are described.
The usage models of this technology are presented in details in chapter
two.
The third chapter clearly explains how Bluetooth will benefit
Businesses and individuals with particular attention on the living
standards.
Bluetooth will have to confront other wireless technologies. While
Bluetooth will only have to interoperate with W AP, the relationship
between other wireless technologies and Bluetooth will be balanced
between competition and interoperability ( Chapter four)
As any other technology the data flow within it must be transmitted
securely. The security of Bluetooth is explained in chapter five.
Finally, the infancy of Bluetooth implies the existence of limitations
that are briefly underlined . | en |
