dc.description.abstractThe automobile industries have a strong base in India due to the country’s dense population. The heavy traffic on roads increases the risk of accidents. Since Indian customers were not giving much importance to safety features of vehicles, the automobile brands utilised this for their profit. This was the main reason in the country for the increase in overall accident rates. This research is about the growing influence of safety features among youngs Indians and their interests on European brands as these companies does not compromise safety for any other features. Although their safety features are less when compared with their same cars outside India, they still maintain some safety standards when compared with other brands. The research consist of online polling and online surveys. Telephonic interviews were also conducted with the vehicle dealers, RTO officer and accident victims in India.en
