The aim of this study was to examine how the individual level of cultural intelligence (CQ) can affect the integration performance of culturally diverse teams in multinational companies. Based on the theoretical model of Earley and Ang (2003), the research collected quantitative data through a survey strategy plan in which the individual level of CQ was measured using the Cultural Intelligence Scale (CQS). The team performance was measured using key indicators for integration practices which were evaluated according to the experience of the team member. The sample size was of 133 with participants representing two country groups, Latin America and Western Europe. From the outcomes of the research, a positive relation was found between the level of CQ and the integration performance of multicultural teams. Additionally, the results of the analysis supported the hypotheses demonstrating the importance of CQ to positively contribute to the satisfaction level of team integration practices.
