The organisational culture management has increasingly been on the top executives’ agenda because it can have a powerful impact on the strategy execution. In other words, nowadays, corporate culture has been dealt as part of the strategy. This research aimed to investigate the link between business strategy and corporate culture in an educational company in Brazil. The objective was to identify the gaps between them that can prevent the company from achieving its goals. This case study used a qualitative method, and semi-structured interviews were carried out with the company’s employees to collect data. Then, a thematic analysis was made to evaluate the results.
The findings showed gaps regarding internal communication, leadership, employee engagement and business strategy. This research suggested that in closing these differences, the company can create a more robust culture that can support the achievement of the strategic goals.
