The aim of this study was to examine unprotected sexual intercourse (non-condom
usage) among young adult that consumed alcohol and did not consume alcohol.
There were 160 participants in total, with an equal number of people in the control
and experimental group. It was found that there was a significant difference between
the control and experimental group in the reportage of ever having engaged in
unprotected sexual intercourse. There was also a significant difference between the
control and experimental group in the reportage of unprotected sexual intercourse
with a casual sexual partner. The results indicated that there was also a relationship
between alcohol consumption and unprotected sexual intercourse. It was concluded
that there was a relationship between alcohol consumption and unprotected sexual
intercourse.
