dc.description.abstract | The hypoFinal Year Project of this study set out to draw upon the less documented relationship between the media and peace in an effort to define the relationship between the media and the peace process in Northern Ireland. The methodology employed follows the idea that there is no such thing as common sense, in reality, nothing has meaning until it has been represented. The methodology set out to clarify the position, composition and intertextual relations of the collected data, in an effort to construct the findings and define them against theoretical and practical templates discussed early on in the work. The extensive primary research conducted aims to illustrate the theoretical findings in a modern day conflict scenario. | en |
