dc.description.abstract | This study compared death anxiety scores in relation to age, gender, recent bereavement and personality scores. The study was a between subjects design using a convenience sample. Templer's Death Anxiety Scale and Keirsey's Temperament Sorter 2 were administered to 102 participants consisting of male and female adults of all ages. Results showed a significant difference in death anxiety scores between males and females but not between the age groups or among those who have been and those who have not. It also concluded that as thinking levels increase, death anxiety levels decrease. In addition a weak positive correlation was identified between death anxiety levels and feeling levels. Future implications are also addressed. | en |
