The aim of the current research is trying to understand the immigrants' general health status in Ireland. It explores from the aspects of acculturation level-age, gender, length of stay, cultural difference-social comparison, and personality difference-extraversion and neuroticism. The current research IS a quantitative cross-sectional questionnaire design. Totally, there are 157 participants in the research, in which there are 50 collectivism (Chinese, Korean, Japanese), 53 Individualism (French, German), and 54 control group- Irish as to see if any difference in health status between the native and the immigrants. However, the results shows that only neuroticism have significant influence on general health status, F(1,78)=20.18, p<0.006. And some aspects of the research are discussed in order to interpret the results.
