Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to test whether the statements of opening learning patrons in the Ilac Public Library can be used as evidence for ways in which the centre can be improved and also whether the statements provided by patrons can be used as evidence which could contribute towards increasing the body of knowledge available on open learning centres and students. A sample of fifteen patrons was interviewed in the course of this study. The study contained a sample of fifteen patrons. Information was collected using semi structured interviews.
