Abstract
In a world where mobile technology is becoming an increasing part of daily life across all demographics, it is not surprising that it has infiltrated into even the most private of daily situations. With the advances in internet phones and 3G services throughout Ireland, and indeed the entire Western World, and the predominance of social networking as a means of communication within society today, many use the time spend going to the bathroom to ‘Tweet’ or access their Facebook accounts, communicating en masse during what was, until recently, one of the truly private spaces we as a society had left.
