Abstract
The Purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between leadership styles and bullying in the workplace. It will investigate the effects of an Authoritarian Leadership Style on the number of reported incidents of bullying and a Democratic Leadership Style on the number of reported incidents of bullying. 103 participants took part in the current study. A Chi squared was carried out to examine the relationship between authoritarian and democratic leadership styles on the number of reported incidents of bullying. The results indicate a significant relationship between Authoritarian style leadership and reported incidents of bullying by supervisor (Chi-square (1) = 9.000, p = .003).
