Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between self-esteem and aggression via the projective technique of draw-a-person test. Primary school children aged 10-12 years (mean = 11.27) from three different schools took part in this study. Appropriate Statistical analysis including: descriptive and inferential statistics where conducted on the results to find if a statistical significant difference existed between the levels of self-esteem and aggression and whether projective methods should be used instead of psychometric tests in gathering information from children. Thus, emphasizing the importance of using alternative measuring methods.
