Abstract
The current study examines the levels of loneliness and its relation to self-esteem and social support among Irish and non-Irish students studying in Dublin. One hundred students participated in the research. It was hypoFinal Year Projected that Irish students will score lower on UCLA Loneliness scale than non-Irish students; and that there will be a correlation between loneliness, self-esteem and social support. Results of the study did not show difference in loneliness among both groups. However, a significant correlation was found between variables.
