Since research began in the area of peer harassment among school children, little has been investigated regarding the relationship between personality, religiosity and involvement in bully\victim problems. The aim of the present study was to investigate the incidence of bully\victim problems and the association between involvement in such problems and these individual difference variables. A sample of 224 Year 2 students across 3 post-primary schools in the South-east of Ireland. All students completed The Olweus Bully/Victim Questionnaire (Olweus, 1989), The Francis Scale of Attitude Towards Christianity (Francis & Stubbs, 1987), and The Eysenck Personality Questionnaire Revised-Abbreviated (Franc is, 1996). Results indicate that levels of extraversion and psychoticism differed significantly across all actor groups (i.e., bullies, victims, bully\victims). Also, results further revealed that religiosity and psychoticism were significantly related among the respondents. Results and implications are discussed in relation to theory and practice.
