Abstract
Cloud Computing has been envisioned as the next-generation architecture of IT Enterprise. It moves the application software and databases to the centralized large data centers, where the management of the data and services may not be fully trustworthy. This work studies the problem of ensuring the integrity of data storage in Cloud Computing. With cloud storage services, it is common place for data to be not only stored in the cloud, but also shared across multiple users. However, preserving and0 assuring security to data such as the public and private files stored in the cloud remains to be an open challenge. The security of data in cloud storage, however, is subject to malicious threats, as data stored in the cloud can easily be lost or corrupted due to the inevitable hardware/software failures and human errors. The purpose of this research is to analyze the major security threats and find out better way to ensure security of data stored in the cloud shared environment. To identify any algorithm or technique that can be implemented to enhance the security measures. A primary research will be carried out in order to find the different ideas and suggestions in order to secure the files that are stored in the cloud shared environment and additional security compliance policies that can be followed. The findings from the research will be summarized and used to build and artifact to provide a working model of the identified solution.
